On Saturday 20 January, 9 students participated in the Surrey Schools Cross-Country Championships at Reigate Priory, having qualified to represent Guildford. In the Under 13 Race, Sam came in First Place, making him Surrey Champion. He has qualified to run for English Schools in the County Championship. In the Junior Boys (Year 8 and 9), Hugo, Angus and George all ran very well in a competitive field, with Hugo coming in 14th position and qualifying for a special training camp and two further races. George narrowly missed out on qualifying. In the Inters race, Eddie, Ollie, Percy and Mo all put in a strong performance, with Eddie our first runner through, competing against Year 11 students. He came 25th overall. Felix ran very well in the Senior Race.
