On Tuesday 20 February, we took 12 students ranging in age from 11 to 17 to Abbot’s Hospital in Guildford to entertain their residents.
Ollie kicked us off with a quiz about service stations and cheeses – which do you think “Pease pottage” is? Aadit and Freddie entertained with some jokes before Thomas taught an origami lesson. Zac and Bear shared some of their favourite poems and Will, Leo, Tom, Rayan, Suhaan and George played the piano, clarinet, guitar and trumpet! Leo then finished off the event by reading one of the poems written by a resident. As we left, we were asked when we could return!
