After an early start, 39 junior students embarked on a French trip to Normandy for five days of culture, adventure and language immersion. The diverse programme, primarily in French, included activities such as a circus workshop, outdoor brain teasers, a climbing wall and a massive scavenger hunt. A highlight was Dinan Market Day where the boys practised their language skills by interacting with locals and bargaining, returning with a lots of local delicacies and trinkets.
The trip continued with a visit to Mont Saint Michel, a historic marvel and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The experience culminated in a French-style bread-making session, followed by a soirée and costume contest, with varied and entertaining results.
The trip was a resounding success with all students benefiting both linguistically and culturally.
