On five days each year, the normal timetable is suspended, and students participate in a series of Field Days.
On most recent of these, students enjoyed a hugely varied programme of activities ranging from visits to The Science Museum and Royal Academy of Arts; conservation of local woodland areas; navigation training in the Surrey Hills; indoor sky diving; a visit to the RAF Museum at Hendon; military skill-at-arms and assault courses; climbing and bouldering; learning bushcraft; developing business skills; mountain biking; power boating on the Solent; kayaking and rafting in Southampton Water; surfing in Cornwall; drama workshops; music groups; developing key life-skills; working with a variety of local community organisations, and hiking.
These days are incredibly valuable as boys gain many new skills and develop their capabilities in a wide variety of areas outside the classroom.
