Charity Sleep Out

The rain started at about 6.00pm, just as 35 Second Form pupils, 3 Fourth Form helpers and 5 staff arrived at the RGS to sleep out to raise funds for the charity Transform. This is the third year we have held this event, inspired by Umun (a Fourth Form student). Unfortunately, the rain continued throughout the night, meaning that most of the cardboard shelters collapsed! The best shelters included a tarpaulin and a TV box. Despite the weather, staff and pupils remained buoyant and raised £7182, smashing last year’s total by almost £2000!
