As Headmaster of RGS Guildford, Jon has been instrumental in driving numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the academic and extracurricular offerings of the School.

His leadership is characterised by a strategic vision that balances tradition with innovation, ensuring that the School remains at the forefront of educational excellence. His passion is to make the RGS accessible to all pupils and, as a consequence, the creation of an enduring bursary fund has been as focus of his leadership.

Under his guidance, RGS Guildford has continued to thrive, maintaining its reputation as one of the leading independent schools in the UK, while also emphasising the importance of traditional values and outstanding pastoral care.

Toby joined RGS Prep as Head in 2020, which spans Nursery to Year 6. He has experience working in all-boys, all-girls and co-educational schools in both the private and state sector.

Toby is passionate about prep education, and the importance of creating an environment that nurtures confident, curious, and well-balanced children. In his spare time, he can usually be found exploring the beautiful Surrey countryside with his wife and two children.

Bob leads the growth of RGS family schools. He is responsible for originating, developing and supporting our overseas partnerships.

Bob is highly experienced in international education. He has spent 15 years on senior leadership teams at high achieving UK schools, following 15 years of investment banking expertise with global market-leading institutions.

Kate is the Bursar with responsibility for the smooth running of the operational aspects of RGS and RGS Prep.  This covers Finance, HR, IT, Estates and H&S.

Kate has over 16 years’ experience working at the RGS as a member of the SMT and has been involved in a huge range of changes and initiatives over this time. Prior to the RGS she worked at KPMG in a range of client facing and internal roles for over 16 years.

As Clerk to the Governors, she works closely with the Board of Governors to assist them in carrying out their duties to support the School.

Jill began her teaching career in 2004 in South Devon before moving to Surrey. Jill worked in the state sector for 12 years in a variety of roles, teaching Biology, Head of KS3 Science, Outdoor Education, Head of Vocational Education and joined RGS Guildford in 2016.  She is passionate about enabling students to reach their full potential and enabling staff to have the autonomy to deliver the best education for students.

Outside of work Jill enjoys sailing with her family. She also ran the counties Search and Rescue team and can often be found in the countryside around Surrey training with the team and working with her trainee search dog.
