What We Offer

RGS Guildford is a leading day school for boys aged between 3 and 18.  Our pupils go on from RGS Prep to study and regularly gain scholarships at some of the area’s most prestigious schools. At RGS Guildford we are proud to be consistently among the UK’s leading schools, based on our students’ performance in public exams.

Yet, at RGS Guildford, our education goes beyond just academic grades. We’re committed to providing every student with countless opportunities to nurture their interests and passions outside of the classroom, ensuring they continue to thrive when they move on to university and their future careers.

Future Ready

We are built on centuries of heritage, but our students are inspired to embrace the future. Our students respect traditional values, but fill the school with a 21st century energy.

Supportive Community

Students benefit from excellent pastoral care alongside first class teaching and we empower all our students to become the best version of themselves.

Across all age groups we provide extensive enrichment through our curricular and co-curricular activities and we encourage individuality of self and self-expression and independence of thinking. Individuals thrive here because they are in a place that challenges them, supports them and knows them in equal measure.

Diverse, Equal and Inclusive

Our students come from all walks of life. This diversity of experiences, backgrounds and beliefs means that our students develop an interest in, and understanding of, others. Our location in the heart of the thriving town of Guildford means that our students are very much a part of the local community.

Community and Partnerships

We understand the importance of philanthropy and work each year to support a number of charities chosen annually by the School community.

In the past 5 years the School has supported over 15 local, national and international charities and raised over £132,000.  We are privileged to provide enrichment opportunities including academic Masterclasses and Music and Drama programmes to local primary schools and our alumni give their time generously to share their university and career experiences with our students.
