* The Surrey County Council Early Years Free Entitlement offsets 3 hours per day for eligible pupils.

NOTES:

  • VAT is not applicable to school fees for Nursery (subject to specific requirements).
  • VAT may be applicable to some extras for all year groups – these will be charged in line with HMRC guidance.

The School has committed to sharing the burden of VAT on school fees between parents and the School.  Parents’ share of the VAT impact will be applied through an incremental 3% fee increase each year for three academic years from January 2025, in addition to the normal annual fee increase. The School is absorbing the remainder of the VAT impact.

Additional Information

  • The Governors review fees annually and notice of the fees for the following academic year are advised at the end of the Lent Term.   The fees are payable in advance on, or before, the first day of term and include the cost of most stationery and textbooks, games and school societies, but exclude a small number of items, for example public examination and UCAS entry fees.
  • Individual music tuition is provided at an extra charge.
  • There are no sibling discounts.
  • Any fees paid after the first day of term will be subject to late charges as specified in the Acceptance Form.
  • The acceptance of a place is subject to the School’s Terms and Conditions, returning the signed Acceptance Form and paying the Acceptance Deposit, which equates to 25% of the first term’s fees.  The deposit is non-refundable until the boy leaves the School, unless the offer of a place is withdrawn by the Governors in which case it will be refunded in full.  Should the boy not take up the place offered for any other reason, the Acceptance Deposit will be forfeited.
  • Should you wish to cancel your contract after accepting a place please read and complete this form  Cancellation notice and form
  • A full term’s notice in writing is required before the removal or withdrawal of a boy prior to starting at the RGS, otherwise a full term’s fees will be payable.
