When did you join the RGS? Sept 2020

What’s the best thing about the RGS? Its community! The boys are fantastic learners, and the common room is friendly and supportive. The RGS is a very exciting place to be.

What excites you most about coming into work each day? I am sharing my passion for music with talented colleagues and students. It doesn’t feel like work at all!

What’s your life philosophy/motto in life? “Vivamus, moriendum est”, because it’s easy to lose perspective on what truly matters.

If you were allowed one dream perk, what would it be? If I could, I would get a studentship, go back to University, and start a PhD.

What luxury would you have on a desert island? A piano of course! Tuned, please…

If you could choose one superhuman ability what would it be? Flying! I am following Saint-Excupery’s dream.

What’s your favourite film and why? My favourite film is a very cheesy romantic comedy, I couldn’t possibly reveal its title!

Do you have any phobias? I’ve become acrophobic with age, but I’m working on it… Last Summer, I went on a via ferrata called ‘The Ladders of Death’! I was a bit scared to start with, but I did it!

What’s the strangest thing in your fridge at the moment? Cancoillotte! Google it…

What is your favourite ice-cream flavour? Chocolate, always!

Which actor/actress would you get to play you in a film of your life? Romy Schneider when she was in her 30s.
